Dealing with Nicotine Withdrawal Symptoms

Because cigarettes contain nicotine, quitting a smoking addiction is extremely difficult. Symptoms of a nicotine addiction include insomnia, irritability, constipation, fatigue, headache and coughing. While symptoms do subside with time, it can be difficult to function while going through a nicotine withdrawal. Do not let nicotine stand in your way of quitting cigarettes. There is a better alternative.

E cigarettes are the alternative to traditional tobacco cigarettes. These particular cigarettes are helpful because they contain nicotine, but not tobacco. Thus, you can curb your addiction without going through withdrawal symptoms. An e cigarette features a nicotine cartridge. These cartridges feature either a high dose or a low dose of nicotine. You can start with a high level, and slowly decrease your dose.

Continue to lower your nicotine level and you will gradually wean yourself off the drug. And once you're no longer dependent on nicotine, you can quit smoking for good.
