Switch to an Electronic Cigarette and Save Money

Talk to any smoker and they'll likely admit that smoking is an expensive habit. The costs of cigarettes vary by store and geographical area. But the average cost for a pack of cigarettes is around $5. If you smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, that's $35 a week, $140 a month and $1,680 a year.

Switching to an electronic cigarette is not only healthier, but easier on your pocket. The price of electronic cigarettes vary by company and depends on how much you smoke. But on average, the overall costs of an electronic cigarette kit can save you on average about 75% less than traditional cigarettes. There is an initial upfront cost with an electronic cigarette. You have to purchase a starter kit, which includes the cartomizers, the battery and the charger. But after you acquire your starter kit, you can save a ton of money each year.

An electronic cigarette is a better alternative all around. Traditional cigarettes can severely damage your lungs and increase your risk of heart attack, stroke and cancer. Smoke inhaled from cigarettes contain harmful toxins, and these toxins increase the risk of illness. Nicotine is present in an electronic cigarette, but not the toxins. It's a safer and healthier way to kick the smoking habit.
